R. Kelly’s “Double Up Tour” comes to the Columbus Civic Center, 400 Fourth St., on Nov. 14.

The 7:30 p.m. concert also features J Holiday and Keyshia Cole.

Kelly may be best known for his hits “I Believe I Can Fly” in 1996, “Step in the Name of Love” in 2003 and “Happy People” in 2004. He surprised some fans with his 2005 rap mini-opera, “Trapped in the Closet.”

The artists will be kicking off a 40-city tour from Columbus after rehearsing here for three days.

Ticket prices will be announced Tuesday, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
