You could say R. Kelly’s new Jive/ZLG album, Double Up, is a home run.

The multi-platinum soul man returns to the top of the charts with his latest, garnering an impressive 395k in first-week sales, easily defeating the previous #1, Maroon 5’s A&M/Octone album, It Won’t Be Soon Before Long, now #2.

Good news for R.Kelly and rapper Bow Wow,their song “I’m a flirt” is taking the charts by storm.

According to music columnist Ken Barnes,the song was the hottest record of the week.

“Bow Wow (teamed with guest fixture R. Kelly) has the top percentage increase in total audience this week, as I’m a Flirt increases by 47.4% and vaults from 92 to 59 on the chart.”
